About These Terms And Conditions
In these Terms and Conditions “we” and “us” mean The Furnishing Room Limited and “you” means you the customer. These Terms and Conditions together with your Order constitute the entire Contract between Us and you for the supply of products for sale by Us on our website (“Products”). No other Terms and Conditions will apply. The Contract cannot be varied unless we agree to vary it in writing or by email. These Terms and Conditions apply to New Zealand Sales only.

1 Colours:
We have done our best to display as accurately as possible the colours of the products . But please remember the colours you see will depend on your monitor, we cannot guarantee that yours will be the same as ours.

2 Order Placement:
Any order that is placed by you through this website is an offer you would like to purchase that product and at the price shown. We really want to supply the product to you but sometimes errors happen. In all cases reserve the right to accept or reject your offer for any reason, including, without limitation, the unavailability of any product/s, an error in the price or the description of the product as shown on this site or due to an error in your order.

3 Ordering Procedure:
How to Order: Ordering with Us is simple-please follow the steps you will be taken through on the site.

Will contact you with in 24 hours to confirm your purchase and advise delivery details.

4 The old out of Stock Situation:
While we only put product on our site that we can supply sometimes the product may become out stock while still showing on the site. In the event that a product is out of stock we will contact you by email or phone and give you an indication as to availability and an anticipated delivery time. At this time you may cancel your order if the delayed delivery time is not acceptable or confirm you would like to go ahead. We really do our best to keep the website up to date.

5 Pricing:
Prices of products and taxes displayed on this website are current at the time of loading , but we may need to change them at any stage. All are in $ NZD and don’t include delivery charges which will be advised separately.

6 GST and other Taxes:
All prices displayed on the website are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST) applied at the current rate of 15%

7 Delivery Information:
Delivery Address: It is without saying we can only deliver to the address you give us so it is critical that you provide us with the a correct delivery address . A post office box address cannot be accepted.

For large items the carrier will call prior to arrange a delviery time. For smaller items sent by courier no call is made prior. If there is nobody to sign for the goods when they are delivered the freight carrier will leave a missed delivery advice card in your letter box advising of the failed delivery. The goods will then be returned to their local depot and you will then need to make contact with the freight carrier directly to arrange an appropriate time for a re-delivery.

8 Special delivery instructions
We really want to get the goods you have purchased to you so please supply us with detailed instructions on how to get them to you.

Bigger items we need to now things like can’t get a truck down a drive way , must use a lift but small can’t leave in the cart dock etc

We expect delivery to have be completed within 5-15 working days (for items that are in stock) from placement of your order.

9 Receipt of Delivery this in really important.
When your goods arrive, please unwrap and check them for damages or faults before signing for them , please make a note on the delivery note and get the driver to sign next to them as well before signing. Photos of any damage to either packaging and or the product is really helpful.

You must notify us of any faulty or damaged goods within 24 hours of receipt of the goods by phone and email Failure to do so, will mean that any transit insurance policy will be voided. The onus is on you to report any faulty or damaged goods immediately.

10 Insurance:
Goods are covered by insurance with our suppliers while they are in transit to you.

11 Payment
Good will only be sent on conformation of full payment

12 Refunds & Returns Policy:
We are unable to refund for “change of minds”, so please choose carefully. Images and dimensions are on our website, If space is an issue please measure your space and check dimensions and ask questions of us. We will only make, and are only obligated to make, a refund if an item cannot be supplied. Any order received damaged or faulty will be replaced only if a replacement cannot be offered will a refund be offered. Returns must be made with in 7 working days if you are returning the item yourself.

It is without saying we will not accept the return of goods that are damaged by you (accidentally or otherwise) or due to natural wear and tear following delivery.

When a monies refund is agreed to it will be by electronic funds transfer to your nominated account or to the credit card number that was used to make to make the purchase.

13 Cancellation of Order
You may cancel an order but the following applies, please note we generally place orders with supplies every 3rd day

If your order has not been placed with the supplier and you have paid by electronic funds transfer we will issue you with a full 100% refund less any transaction costs and bank fees incurred by Us.

If your order has not been placed with the supplier and you have paid by credit card either over the phone or via our online payment system you will be offered a full refund less any fees charged to us by the bank to make the refund transaction.

14 Title
All goods remain the property of The Furnishing Room LTD until the cost of the goods and any related reasonable costs incurred by us have been paid for in full

15 Warranty
The Furnishing Room Ltd will meet our responsibilities under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. But please note if the goods are being purchased for a business then the Consumer Guarantees Act does not apply.

Where the goods are subject to a manufacturer’s warranty then this will also apply. The goods will not be covered under warranty for normal wear and tear or for damage caused to them due, amongst other reasons, to improper use or cleaning.

Very Important Natures products change , as wood and most of the fabrics are a natural material, light tone differences among the various elements that make up the product may occur. If the products are purchased in different periods, the elapsed time and climatic conditions can cause variations in colour and/or tonality and We cannot accept any claim in this regard.

We always reserve the right as to whether the goods will be repaired, replaced or a refund offered to You.
